We are family owned and operated, for 50 years. Manny Sr and his wife Phyllis started our business in 1974. Manny Jr apprenticed with his father for several years, then partnered with him for multiple years, and eventually assumed total ownership of the business upon the passing of his father. Manny Jr follows in the footsteps of Manny Sr with pride, continuing the tradition of our piano tuning and piano service company with expert craftmanship,  professionalism, and integrity. 
WHAT IS PIANO TUNING BY EAR ?

EAR OR “AURAL” PIANO TUNING IS  ONLY THE PROPER WAY TO TUNE A PIANO. IT REQUIRES YEARS OF TRAINING TO ACHIEVE THE STATUS OF A MASTER EAR  “AURAL” PIANO TUNER.

EVERY PIANO IS UNIQUE AND TUNES SLIGHTLY DIFFERENTLY.  EAR TUNING ALLOWS THE PIANO TUNER TO USE INTERPRETATION TO BLEND HARMONIES AND LITERALLY GIVE YOUR PIANO “SOUL.” ” AN EAR TUNER CAN MAKE ADJUSTMENTS FOR CEILING HEIGHT, HARDWOOD FLOORS VERSUS CARPET, AND THE INDIVIDUALITY OF YOUR OWN PIANO THAT REQUIRES PRECISION AND EXPERTISE.

NO ELECTRONIC DEVICE CAN REPLACE THE HUMAN EAR. AN ELECTRONIC METER CANNOT REPLACE THE VITALITY OF THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE.
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH ELECTRONIC PIANO TUNING IS THAT THE TECHNICIAN BECOMES DEPENDENT UPON THE DEVICE AND THEREFORE CANNOT USE HIS EAR TO “TWEAK” THE TUNING.
